IGT has a strategic manufacturing partnership with a leading Far Eastern manufacturing operation. The point of contact remains in the UK; the responsibility for design, quality, delivery performance, logistics and supply chain management remains with IGT. The only difference is that volume pricing will reflect the lower manufacturing costs in our partner's facility. All customer-facing interfaces are locally in the UK, only the manufacturing location changes. Prototyping and other short lead time activities will continue to be implemented in the UK to ensure a fast response and reduced time to market.
