Our unique stand-alone backlit capacitive switches offer immense flexibility for the HMI designer, enabling the convenience and security of no-contact capacitive switching to be combined with programmable colour backlighting, giving the user visual indicators of the operation.

This gives an added dimension to HMI control panels for white and brown goods, customer-facing kiosks, ticket machines, ATM and information points; scientific instruments, industrial controllers or any application where visual feedback will benefit the user. The units will operate behind a clear protective screen up to 12mm thick to protect against accidental or deliberate damage.

Available as stand-alone components, ready to be integrated into any front panel assembly, the units operate from 6 - 24VDC; the LED drivers are limited to 12VDC maximum.
